Good environmental
management is central to the activities of Aqua Planned
Maintenance. Utilization of energy impacts on the environment
and client's overheads and so there is a clear need for
great care and forethought in the selection and use of
energy.
Aqua promotes energy efficient initiatives and innovation
at all operating sites, thereby reducing impact on the
environment.
Energy performance and the role of the maintenance engineer
are unquestionably linked. Through good maintenance procedures
and by undertaking improvement initiatives Aqua strives
to drive down energy consumption to its lowest practical
level, without adversely affecting internal environmental
conditions for occupants.
Aqua provides practical advise to clients on the issues
that surround the European Directive 200291EC (energy
performance of buildings) which came into force on 4 January
2003. |
