Aqua Mechanical Services has an established in-house design department that has designed mechanical and electrical services to a wide range of projects covering:

Lifestyle
Business
Education
Health

Aqua develops projects from initial concept through to contract stage by providing:

Feasibility Studies
Development of design concepts from Mechanical, Electrical and BMS performance specifications and drawings
Design Parameters - After agreeing and understanding the Project Brief we agree the design parameters, and any margins to be incorporated
Through life cost information
Production of design calculations using the Hevacomp design package
Electronically produced drawings using Autocad 2000 and Magicad

By adopting the above policy Aqua concentrates on a 'right first time' principle with clients requirements paramount in delivering the correct design solution for incorporation in the works.

When carrying out Contractor Design, Aqua carries out the following review:
The Project Brief - Before commencing any design, the full extent of the package will be discussed so the scope of work is understood, the objective are clear
Development of design concepts from Mechanical, Electrical and BMS performance specifications and drawings
Information Requirements - An IRS schedule will be produced identifying key information required to enable the design to be effectively procured
Drawing & Design Production - Once parameters are agreed, a programme allowing for calculations, preparation and presentation will be produced. This will be monitored at regular intervals.
Material Selection - Once the scheme is agreed the client is provided with a technical submission of materials to be used, which allows supply chain involvement into the design process
Constraints - In developing the design, parameters will have been set in to ensure the system is not over engineered, and fits the costs profiles
By adopting the above policy Aqua concentrates on a 'right first time' principle with clients requirements paramount in delivering the correct design solution for incorporation in the works

In addition to Aqua's in-house design capability the company has an established network of Design Consultants who work with the company provide design services to specific projects. This facility allows Aqua to use its supply chain's expertise and experience to augment its range of services.
